Wow. I forgot I ordered three boxes of Thin Mints. I had to pay my neighbor's daughter for the cookies and pay her to take them away. I thought about freezing them like I normally do, but those cookies did not stand a chance in my house.

The Girls Scouts are all over the place. They have a kiosk in the mall, they were outside of 2 of the 3 other stores stores that I went to today. I stayed strong and kept going after dropping a few dollars in the donation box.

Good for you!! Thin mints are the death of me. If I open the box I will eat a whole sleeve....then put in the freezer and take out and finish the second sleeve about 2 hours later!!
I was driving down the street the other day and the Ice Cream parlor had on its sign. "Girl Scout Thin Mint Cookie Ice Cream" Talk about flat out tourture, I swear I almost wrecked the car!!

Yeah I ordered a whole bunch of boxes too before I decided to get on track. Pretty sure the Mr. will eat them.

I can definitely put them in the freezer tho, I think I still have a box of thin mints in there from last year!!

That's the nice things about teaching school is that I can always brig left over goodies to the students and the gobble them up!!

I sooo wanted to do this, but only had a credit card and no one would take it! Not even at the state level!

  • I just ate the last tagalongs of what I "rationed" ...I really think they were too tempting even when in the freezer...didn't stop me when I was craving or PMSing! Like I said, I really recommend getting rid of them. What a great idea to support the troops with them! You go!!!!

I've been good so far... My husband went out and got 2 boxes (he ate the whole box of the chocolate peanutbutter ones himself) and we have been sharing the thin mints. I had 4 yesterday and 4 the day before with a glass of milk. It was fabulous, and I didn't go over my calories either day!
