Hello fellow MFPers! I'm super interested in getting started on HIIT Training. Anyone have any good "at-home" HIIT workouts they're interested in sharing?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Do you have a treadmill or elliptical? I do HIIT on the treadmill. I run for 45 seconds at 8.2 MPH; then recover and walk for about a minute; repeat. I don't do it for any set length of time. It depends on what is going on. I usually warm up for my personal training session by doing about 8 minutes of this. At the end of my training, I do the same thing for maybe 10 minutes or so.
EDIT: You can basically set your max speed at whatever will leave you significantly winded after about 45 seconds. For me that is 8.2. If you can't do that, just set your max speed lower. My trainer really believes in HIIT, and I do now too, good luck!0 -

Thanks for the suggestions! Unfortunately, I don't have a treadmill :-( However, I do love to run........ guess I could always incorporate this with a run outside.
I will definitely be checking out bodyrock.tv and one of these days, I'm going to purchase Turbo Fire! I completed Insanity (another of Beach Body'programs) and it was insanely awesome!0
