Filling Foods

Tracking my daily caloric intake has been really beneficial - not only in keeping me on track but it also allows me to see just how many calories I was eating each day before I started tracked. Needless to say, it was eye-opening! I've found it an adjustment eating only a certain number of calories each day and often find myself still hungry even if I've maxed out on my daily target. Are there any particular foods you like (the lower the calorie content, the better) that are quite filling?

Sure thing. The most filling foods are those with fiber and protein. High fiber fruit, veggies, bran cereals. Chicken, other lean meats, yogurt, etc. Oh, and beans. These are foods I eat to keep me full.
  • Protein or fruit shakes made with ice and water, not milk. I usually use 1 cup ice and half cup water.

There is also almonds, any veggie, apple, grapefruit, etc. There are soo many things to choose from! :)
