New here - Need a change and some motivation!!

Hi all! I am a single mom of a wonderful 6 year old son. I will be 35 in 2 days and am ready to make a change. I am preparing to move in with my boyfriend and his son in the next few months. My BF and I both need to get healthier and have decided to do this together, which should help!

I have floated between 165 - 175 for the past 10 years and would really like to break out of that. I lead a fairly sedentary life (work at a desk all day) and don't have much energy for exercise when I get home. I do take a few actions to help - I take the steps every day at work (work on the 3rd floor of an office building) - several times. When I go to the restroom, I always go to at least the second floor, usually the first. I also live on the third floor of an apartment building, so it could definitely be worse.

My biggest problems are being too tired and portion control. I'm hoping to gain some self esteem and learn how to make my life better for me, my son and my growing family.

Hoping to find lots of motivation here! Please help!
