Hi Everyone!!! I'm a 23 year old weight loss junkie, haha. I've been trying to lose weight for forever it seems like, always going up and down depending on where I am in life. I lost a ton of weight when I was in middle school (not the healthy way, I was very close to an eating disorder). Now, I have never gotten as heavy as I was, but I've added some weight since then and I've been slowly taking it off the RIGHT way this time. Which is actually quite frustrating to someone who lost the bulk of her weight very quickly, haha, but patience is a virtue, or so I've heard.
I am 5'9" ish, maybe a teensy bit shorter, and I started out my 'second' weight loss journey around 185ish, and slowly but surely I've gotten down to 160. I was 153 briefly for a while, but then my senior semester of college came and that was blown out of the water (very stressful schedule: very long hours, no sleep, and lots of homework). SO, now that I've graduated and I have time to myself again, I am quite confident I can reach my goal weight this time. I have lots of programs that I love to do, Turbo Fire, Turbo Jam, Insanity, Tae Bo, lots of fitness dvd sets, I also like to jog or use the elliptical, and I'm going to add weights this time around because I hear that's a really good way to burn more calories.
So, my goal is to get down to around 135-ish pounds, anywhere from 130-140 is my goal. I plan on doing the Turbo Fire program from start to finish, something I've tried several times to do, but life got in the way. I look forward to sharing my progress with everyone and reading about everyone else's progress as well!!! Good luck to everyone!!!
