Is there anything wrong with it as I can't afford fresh all the time? The majority of veg I eat is frozen as I have to feed a family of five on a very tight budget plus I only go shopping once a week and do.d a lot of fresh stuff doesn't last to well.

What are your views?

(It's just plain veg nothing added by the way)

    I know what you mean.... my solution is to stock up the freezer when the frozen veggies are on sale and at the same time I joined a CSA program where I buy a basket of veggies once a week directly from the farmers it's not as cheap as frozen stuff but it gives me variety

    Frozen vegetables have comparable nutrition and calories to fresh. Just be sure to check the label for added ingredients, but if it's just the veg then it's perfectly fine.

    Depending on what study you read, frozen veggies may actually be better for you since they are flash frozen at the peak of freshness, instead of being picked, then bounced around through several machines, onto a truck or two, and then sitting on the grocery shelf.

    Unfortunately, I'm a super picky eater and most of the veggies I like, I only like fresh. Any sort of peppers and corn do freeze well though!
    Salads = can't be frozen.
    Green beans = frozen ones just seem mooshy to me once cookes.

    Frozen is great. Usually the best in this order- fresh local, frozen (flash frozen), fresh not local, canned. Any of these choices in organic, even better.
