I live in "PASTA LAND" how do i have to do??

Hi, i'm jus learining to use this and i'd love sum tips on this. I live in italy and they cook pasta everyday (lots of calories) and when i get home course i'm hungry so i eat it even if i dn't really love it. Can u please give me some tips on this. Thanks :)
