I just saw a glimpse of this show for the first time yesterday on Food Network.

It's one of Paula Deen's sons (the younger/shorter/cuter one), and he is recreating his mom's recipe's, but turning them into healthier lower calorie versions.

The one I saw yesterday was some kind of donut cake, and chocolate merengue pie.

Have any of you seen or tried any of the recipes on this show? I'd love to see more of it!

I love Paula Deen, but I know her food is horrendous calorie-wise.

I haven't seen the show, but it sounds interesting. And I agree, her food is laden with calories!!! yikes!

I haven't tried but I saw one where he made coconut shrimp in the oven and i forgot what else he made but they looked delicious.

Not seen the show, I want to though. I made his "lighter" version of Green Bean casserole for the holidays though. It was really good, I've never had her original version so I can't compare.
