Being rude isn't helping anyone.

Everyone to the boards should be welcome to their own opinion. Unless they are doing something to hurt themselves, there is no reason to make rude comments about their methods. If you disagree with a method it's ok to say it, but watch how you say it.

There are things that work for me that others would believe were pish posh. But it has worked for me. You should be happy that I'm doing something healthy for myself. If you don't like it, you're not helping your cause by trying to make me feel low about myself.

There are things that I feel are stupid wastes of money or a waste of time or hocus pocus, but it works for other people. And that's their money and time and beliefs.

If you want to make a point, please do it in a way that is beneficial for you AND the person you are talking to.

For most people on a WEIGHT LOSS WEBSITE, self- esteem is a major issue. Your words could hurt that even more. We should be here to support each other, not be prideful buttheads.

  • I'm sorry this happened to you. I have been on here since September and have seen it too many times to count. I have learned to shake my head and pay attention to the ones that really want to help. :)

I cant tell you the number of people I have had to block or remove from my friend's list...trying to think THEY know whats right for me just because it worked for them

When I explain that Id rather listen to my doctor considering they are half the reason why Ive dropped almost 70lbs as opposed to someone who doesnt even know me...... that's when all hell breaks loose... and I have to tell them - its just not your place to be that way...

I mean, COME ON.... I......go......to.....my....DOCTOR! ROFLMAO! ****queue the Three Stooges theme song
