Shallow Much??

so ill admit
recently ive been into the whole bar hoppin and clubbin scene


i go to wait in line with my friends
the bouncer will walk up and tell me that i can have VIP and dont deserve to wait in back of lines
and me and my girls walk right inside

my friends are the same friends ive always had...and always will
that never used to happened to us...we used to wait in the back of lines
and buy our own drinks all night

i havent paid for a drink out...since november and have had VIP everywhere we went
and i go out every friday & saturday nights
(work related- i do alot of promotinal modeling for clubs and bars)
i basically get paid to dress up and go to a club and party

but some weekends i dont have too ...ill just go out and have fun
i get my drinks paid for and no lines and no cover charge

i dont think it would bother me unless it was that was for all girls
but they pick and choose who they want to let in and not let in

my friend had on a jacket with a hood on it...they told her no sorry cant come in
i said i was cold and i put on her jacket and it was fine...i think thats rudeeeeeeeee

i just dont think people should give special treatment
i think im only bothered by it because i never got special treament untill latley
i always waited in lines and paid for drinks...unless i name dropped who my husband was

whatever....anyone else bother by the shallowness of the world??

No it doesn't bother me. I like it being let in and nt waiting in the line- However when my husband is with me he doesn't let me leave the line without him:grumble: -

They let certain girls in free because it brings more money and guys to the clubs and bars. When men see good looking women dressed nice/sexy it attracts more men

Its already been proven that if you are larger vs smaller you get treated differently- Alot of tv show hosts have put on the fat suit to see whats the difference-

and they also downed the way there appearances are to be less attractive to see the difference in treatment compared to someone that looks good

Lately I've been getting a lot of flack for exercising a lot, eating healthy, knowing answers in class. I'm a boring teacher's pet who needs a life.

Since when did laziness and idiocy become the 'in things' to do? Why is it funny and cool for someone to get so totally hammered that they forget their name and where they live, let alone a grade-making exam they have to take in a couple days? It's like people laugh WITH them, but laugh AT me.

I always have something to say because I'm not an idiot and I know the answers, dammit! :explode: It's not my fault if you're completed vapid and have nothing better to do than get totally wasted so you don't have to have any social skills! :explode:

Oh I don't care what other people do. I just care that they give me crap about what I DO. I'm not in class saying, "Gosh, why do you always have a stupid question to ask?" But they think it's okay to say, "Man, why do you always have something to say?"
