yucky day

:sad: i am having a really yucky day. i am so tired today. dont have any idea what im hungry for, dont know what to make for dinner. ive been at this since dec 27 and ive tried all new recipies.. i dont know if im missing some of my old foods or whats going on but uuuugggghhhhh today sucks. i have made some of our favorite foods just in the healthy way but oh i dont even know what im trying to say. i guess ill go walk for a while see if that helps. any one else have days like this? what do you do??

    Sounds like SAD to me. :cry:
    I get it all of the time.
    This is going to sound dumb, But eat a cup of yogurt or drink a glass of milk.
    The Vit D raises your mood. Also fish anything, tuna, shrimp, NOT FRIED! helps out a lot.
    And exercise, even though if you are like me you are not going to feel like it.
    When you have Seasonal Affective Disorder, you can tell yourself that winter will not last forever and that soon it will be Spring till you are blue in the face, but until you get more Vit D back into your system, and get moving, you are just going to feel icky. :cry: I was going through this yesterday, I did not want to do anything but mope. I felt like the wind had been taken out of my sails, like I was NEVER going to get warm again, that Spring was never going to get here and that I was stuck. I did not want to do anything but cry. (BTW do not expect the people in your life that do not have SAD to understand it.)
    Michael was upset that i could not tell him what was wrong with me and thought I was just being silly, which made it worse.
    So knowing that this is what I was going through, I went down stairs got on the TM and ran for 2 min. I felt better still down but at least I was not crying depressed.
    Needless to say, YES, I know exactly how you feel!

    another good source of Vitamin D is sunlight! our bodies produce the vitamin when we get an adequate amount of exposure to the sun (at least 1 hr/week).

    being winter, it is hard to get this sun exposure in a natural way. i try to hit the tanning bed for ten minutes or so when i haven't gotten any sun exposure for the week. it really is a mood booster!

    I felt like that yesterday too. I told myself i was going to go to the gym, even if its 30 misn and of course I was freezen and jumped into my pjs and grabbed my big comforter and eased on into the comforts of my couch - sooooo lazy. hahahaha
