A happy sort of pain

So I've had to basically nix any runs worth talking about due to ankle issues. These ankle issues have decided me that I am taking up barefoot running (I honestly can't hurt anything more without shoes than I do with). And I used to dabble in the barefoot running, although only on my treadmill.
Tonight I went down to the school indoor track, stripped off my shoes and socks, and ran interval sprints for a half hour (two walks, one sprint, two walks... etc) I have my very first blister on the sole of my feet and I love it. I won't be able to LD run anytime soon but there was something zen, none the less, with those little sprints. I am looking forward to being able to gain mileage again.

On the plus side, because I need to retrain my feet, I can only build up slowly, which may help me heal my ankle *hopes*
