Hello there,

First a little background story. I had always stayed around 180 through out high school. Then when I was 17 I moved out of my parents house and across the country to start my own life. When I first moved out I lost about 20 pounds. I was broke so I couldn't buy very much food and had gotten a job at a grocery store pushing carts. I also had no car so I would have to walk a total of 6 miles to get to and from work. I started to gain a little bit more weight after the stove in the housing I was renting a room at broke. It was broke for about 10 months where the land lady would avoid all calls requesting repairs until someone finally threatened legal action. During that time I would get most of my meals off the dollar menu or from a bag of chips. Then soon after that I started getting more rides to and from work and transferred to the deli department at my work. Good bye exercise and hello fried chicken! Eventually i reached over 200 pounds and decided to try to eat healthier and exercise. I stuck with it for a while and I made it back under 200 pounds. But then I started working a ton more and having a lot less time for the gym. i let myself get lazy again and started eating worse than ever before. I would finish a bag of cookies in two days, a box of fruit roll ups in one sitting, a 44 oz. of soda every day at work, sometimes two. Now at the age of 20 i find myself weighing 223 pounds. That's a gain of about 43 pounds in 3 years. I started thinking about how much I would end up weighing if I continued to eat like this. I decided to start counting my calories and found this app. i have been watching my calories for about two weeks now and have already lost 3 pounds! I am very determined to stick with this! I am hoping that through moderation and exercise I can reach my goal of 150 pounds.
