I just started program and cannot seem to figure out how to associate calories burned during weight training. Can anyone advise?

It's not listed with calories under strength training because calories burned from lifting are hard to calculate, since the calories are burned over time. Your best bet would be to use a heart rate monitor while lifting and track those. I hear if you enter your strength training exercises under cardio, there are calories associated with them, however, I've never tried it. I think of the calories I burn while lifting as a little extra boost I don't need to track or think about, like a little extra work to pleasantly surprise my calorie deficit without me really knowing, and then I definitely don't overestimate0

I include strength training under cardio. Just type in strength training and enter how many minutes you did it. Strength training burns a lot of calories, because even when you're done lifting your body is still working and using calories to repair muscle. I include it because I want to give myself credit for it! Good luck!0
