The "number" seems off.

I have lost 2.6 pounds on my diet of a week and a half thus far, but I really feel like its more. My clothes feel SOOO much looser and fit way better and I really feel more like I've had a 5-10 pound loss but no matter where I put the scale it's still a loss of 2.6 pounds.
I know its not "inches" off set by muscle gain because I am really only doing some very light cardio like walking.
Any helpful explinations?

A good chunk of that is water weight. Speaking from personal experience, I see a big difference in a few pounds of water. When I woke up today I was about 2 lbs lighter than I was last night and I can very clearly see less bloat in the mirror. I look much leaner.0
