Bacon Cheddar Jalapeno Turkey Quesadilla
I made these the other night and they turned out delicious!
1 pound 93/7 ground turkey
10 rings jalapeno's (I used jarred, could use fresh if desired), chopped finely
2 tsp Montreal Steak Seasoning
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp dried parsley
1 Tbsp bread crumbs
2 whole wheat tortillas, cut in 4
4 slices turkey bacon
2 slices cheddar cheese, cut in half
Mix the turkey, chopped jalapenos, seasonings, and bread crumbs until well combined. Form into 4 patties. Cook on grill or pan until they are cooked through. Meanwhile, cook the bacon and cut the 2 tortillas into 4's so you have 8 pieces. Spray one side of each of the tortillas with cooking spray (or spray butter). When the burgers are done, cover each with a half of a slice of cheese. Take two tortillas and put the burger between in, add bacon. Put it in the frying pan for a few minutes on each side like you are making a quesadilla. Top with desire fixings. Makes 4 burgers.
Nutrition Information for 1 burger: Calories: 281, Carbs: 15, Fat: 10, Protein: 32, Sodium: 786, Fiber: 2
I hope this picture works (first time posting a pic)...my calorie count was higher since I added pickles, ketchup, and a small amount of mayo with olive oil.
