lower stomach muscle?

Hello Everyone,

I have been at this for about 2 months and have been liking the results, with one exception. I seem to be having an issue with my lower stomach. When I stand up straight, it pooches out, but there really is no fat to grab, it is hard, but round. Is this muscle sticking out, or am I just delusional and it is fat that needs to be burnt? Either way, I am trying to find a way to flatten it within the next few months.

I already have a calorie goal of 1300, am currently doing 30 day shred and do cardio 4-5 times a week and strength training 1-2 times a week.

Has anyone else had this issue or has insight into what can be done? Like I said, I am pleased with my results but will be sad if more months pass with losses but the pooch of 'muscle' is still there.
