Hello all -

I am from Texas (not that it really matters in the age of Internet!!!) and looking for some friends here.

My New Year Resolution is to lose 40 pounds in 40 weeks and successfully complete a marathon (I will even take a half-marathon) :). I am looking for help around me to motivate and keep good on my promise.

Any help and motivation will be greatly appreciated. I do promise to reciprocate.
