Hi, I'm new to this site and I'd love to have some friends who are focusing on working out, building muscle etc. I have already gone through the slimming down phase and would really like some workout buddies! I do martial arts (red belt in Taekwondo) and I'm a recent convert to the 30DS and basic weight lifting.

I also really like helping/encouraging people, so even if our goals are different I don't really care! I'd just love a nice group of friends to talk to!

I'm currently trying to gain weight, primarily muscle obviously, although I know fat will come with it. Feel free to add me! Please include a message though just so I remember who you are :)

:drinker: I have a few pounds left to drop then I will be focusing on lowering my body fat. My brother owns a TaeKwonDo school and I take a kickboxing class there 4 times a week. Feel free to add me. Cheers!
  • Wow! Thank you all for the fast response, I really didn't expect that! It's great to see others that are focused on the same things that I am. I'll be sure to add/accept all of you.

Hello and welcome. Well I am not really focusing in losing weight right now. I had my baby 8 weeks ago and most of the weight fell off. I have about 5 lbs to lose but I am more focus in toning and getting my flat stomach again. You can add me if you want. I love to help people by encouraging them to push their bodies for transformation and to try new things. I am a firm believer that lifting heavy shapes your body in a good way. But please keep in mind that I have a crazy life, i have a newborn and two other children a 3 and 4 yr old so loggin in my food and exercise is not my priority in this site but seeing how my pals are doing and showing my progress is.

I'll send you a request & congrats on your new baby! It's really inspiring to see moms with so much on their plates keep doing what they love and staying in shape. I sure hope I can be that amazing if/when I chose to start a family.

For the same reasons as limestar, I'm no longer tracking workouts or calories. I am however working out 5 days a week, alternating toning with weights and cardio with abs. Currently back on the 30 Day Shred and once I wrap that one up I'll be tackling JM's new Shed and Shred as well as her Shed It With Weights. Would love to have more maintenence/workout MFP'ers!

    Hey there,
I am still looking to lose 27 pounds in order to reach my ideal weight so I'm pretty heavy on the cardio right now but really want to get into strength training soon. I took some kickboxing classes a few years ago and fell in love with it. Unfortunately, I'm a shift worker and can't commit to the classes. I'd love to have more female friends who are interested in being healthy but strong women. Congratulations on all of your hard work!
    Cheers! :)
