I work at a restaraunt and eat breakfast at around 7 and on a good day I get lunch around 2:30. It kind of sucks. Anyway, I keep easy snacks around. I usually have almonds, an apple, beef jerky, or granola bars stashed somewhere so I can grab a bite if I need it.

Try protein shakes or bars. Quick, easy, portable and, if you pick the right ones, healthy. It can take some experimenting to find ones you like.

I second the trail mix suggestion, as well as, the pre-cut and portioned veggies-in-a-bag.

Prepackage your food in small snack bags...nuts, fruit, veggies. Shakes/bars sound good too.
  • Try Detour bars, I usually find them in Publix.

That is definitely hard when you have a go go go kind of job! I agree that having a stash of almonds in your pocket or something like that would be good. Or a protein shake that's already mixed and ready to go that you can pound when you have a few minutes!

    This.

My husband and I pack up our food for several days at a time together. It's a fun thing to do and makes it easy to grab n' go later.
