I wanna grow old gracefully, vacation with my husband, see my kids graduate, go to college, be successful, get married, have kids and cherish every moment.

I want my hubby & I to be the old people that have many stories to tell, and look good for our age lol. Take my grandkids to cool places and babysit for my kids. That's means my well being and health are a requirement!

It's my fear to not be able to be there for them. I'm not afraid of death I'm afraid of depending on meds, gradually feeling my body break down, or getting worse daily, dying a slow painful death. I've seen it and I will not let it happen to me, my husband, or force my children to watch it happen. I wanna be around to enjoy every moment & celebrate with my family. It is our body, our life is what we make it!

Make it!!!

To much time on my hands on recovery days lol

I definitely understand where you're coming from. Someone was asking me once, back when I was strength training (running now) why was I doing it? I told them that I want to be strong enough to carry my great grandkids on my back without a single problem. Fantastic post and thank you for sharing. Aesthetics will come and go, but good health is the ultimate lifetime achievement. The good thing is that it is, for the most part, all in your control.

I have always had a dislike for people telling me "oh you could get hit by a bus tomorrow!" Sure, I could. However, a fit and healthy person has a much greater chance of survival than someone that has not taken care of themselves. Again, great post and thanks for sharing! Keep rocking solid!
