I'm signed up for a Spartan Sprint race in June and 2 Warrior Dash races (July and Sept). Other than the names... what's the main difference? I'm gonna have a freakin' blast no matter what. I'm just curious what the big differences are cuz they seem like pretty much the same thing. Thoughts/opinions on which is better? Training tips? What kinds of obstacles did you face? I know all about the mud... and the leaping over fire... I'm a little (a lot!) stoked about those! I mean, c'mon... who doesn't wanna play in the mud??

Im training myself for a race next year.

As for the difference between the sprint and the warrior, it just seems to be a difference of the type and number of obstacles which the courses entail, otherwise its pretty much the same slice of cake.

I do know that a few of the less known obstacles of the spartan races include the gladiators, rope walls, spear toss, and the balance logs. Aside from those, im not to sure, I guess I will find out when I arrive at the event next year :).

Best of luck in your race!

Thanks!! Good luck to you, too! I've seen videos with the gladiators... just hoping I don't get whompped in the face. lol
