I am at a stall. No loss no gain. I was told I was eating to few calories. If MFP tells me to eat 1250 a day despite my workout calories I really do try but cannot seem to fit it all in?! My workout calories consist of a range of 500-1200 calories burned in a day approximately 5 days per week. Also, I have mental blocks with food like when I do eat I feel guilty like eating is wrong.
My health is in the balance because my Doctors are telling me I MUST get the rest of the weight off ASAP. Can anyone advise me please?

Are you not able to eat because your way to full? I wish I had that problem!! However, if you are not eating enough that could certainly be what is stalling you. Try adding high calorie (but good for you stuff) to your meals.. for instance add slices of avocado to a sandwhich or on your salads, add nuts to your salads, a spoonful of peanut butter to your oatmeal and so forth. It is just a little bit more food but it has a high calorie content. :drinker:0

For me it's time and guilt. But those are very good ideas! Thank you so much! I am also going to set an alarm to remind me to eat. It seems crazy to me to be overweight from not eating enough? Like say what ???? LOL0

lmao I know like I said I would love to have that problem! Although my issue is emotional eating, but I got rid of the biggest stress in my life so I have been doing better this year lol...
An alarm to eat?? lol...ever heard of pavlovs dog?? lol, every time you hear that alarm ring you are going to start salivating  but hey whatever works right??
so what do you mean by guilt??:huh:0 -
I HEAR THAT! Yep doing the same as well. I get so caught up in all the crap that's gotta get done yesterday and the stress blah blah blah etc etc etc that I genuinely forget to eat until like dinner than I am like OH SNAP I got like 900 calories left.
Pavlov's dog excellent reference.
Guilt cause weight has been my issue for as long as I could remember.. I am like the queen of Yo Yo's. Yes it is Psychological but I am finally at a point where I seriously have medical stuff happening and I am WAY to young for all of that in my opinion. So I *GOT* to do this now. I am proud of how far I have come but it is like I am afraid to get there because I know once I do my confidence will not stop me from pursuing the me I hid away quite a long time ago. It sort of like feels standing on the edge of a diving board at the moment when you are between chickening out and saying that's gonna be awesome ya know?0 -
I totally know what you mean! And it is great that you know what you are working with.
As for the medical issues I know exactly what you mean. I started having knee issues. I am only 28 years old so I can only blame it on the extra 200 pounds I was carrying around! NOTHING ELSE! And I know knees are just the beggining! Once organs start giving me problems than I will really be in trouble!
Anyway I am going to add you so we can help each other along the way!!
I think you are doing great! keep it up!0 -
ps hopefully my reference to pavlovs dog was taken as a general and me in no way comparing you to an animal :blushing:0
