What do you do to help over come it?

I feel my obsessions is what has always caused my downfall in the past (ie on the scales 5 times a day, 3 times in a row each time because they're digital and tend to show slightly different results each time).

Also today is day 4 of a holiday without a scales and there are two things starting to make me anxious,

1st. Usualy I can stick to my Cal's for about a week before a cheat or being that leads me to not get back to counting Cal's for a week.
This means that I'm used to seeing a big drop after a week because of water weight etc.

2. This is day 4 of week 2! So im proud to finally break past a bad habit, but I imagine my weight loss by the end of the week is going to be so small that I and going to feel miserable.

The only cure I can imagine is to not weigh myself at all, but the only thing stopping me is that there isn't one where i am staying.I've spent the last 4 days making plans to buy one but haven't really had the opportunity plus its totally irrational.

P.s. to what extent is it totally uncool to bump up your own post?

One thing I can say is I realize cheating is a part of life (eating that is). When you accept that, learn to limit it, don't let it derail you. I weigh myself daily. If my weight goes up, I realize it is due to normal weight flux. I am remind myself that the scale is just about the worst method of judging weight loss.
