Just came across this recipe and *had* to share it... Enjoy! Guess what I'm making tonight lol :flowerforyou:

Ingredients
1 cup of Nutella
6 Bananas

That's it! You can add cinnamon or cocoa powder if you want but it isn't needed.
Throw the two ingredients into a blender or food processor and blend til very smooth.
(Or if like me you don't have either of those mash the living daylights out of it  )
Pour into a Freezer safe container, or even ice lolly moulds.
Impatiently wait for it to freeze and then devour!

You could also make this with almond butter instead, just follow the recipe exactly swapping the
Nutella for the almond butter. It's still very tasty and a great substitute for ice cream cravings!

There are lots of two ingredient recipes out there that include bananas. You can cut up the bananas first, freeze them, then use them in the blender and they make a nice ice cream consistancy! I haven't tried this yet but can't wait to try. I didn't think of using it with Nutella. Trying to keep it out of the house you know! lol

*do you know how many servings your recipe is for? 1 cup of nutella is 1600 calories (1 tablespoon is 100 calories if I remember correctly). plus the 6 bananas is another 600 cals. so together that makes it at least 2200 calories! I can't imagine getting 11 servings of 200 cals out of it?)

The way I saw it served was in little ice lolly moulds, probably about minimilk size... So I think you'd get 8-10 at least.
Admittedly that doesn't come out particularly low cal (I'd average say 210 a portion?), but as a yummy treat I don't think that's
    too bad!
I've tried several variations using the *blended* bananas and they really do come out well like icecream, just slightly hard to scoop out! My kids love icecream and I use up our ripe bananas this way.
For the kids I've also added hundreds and thousands and chocolate chips in the past....
The Chocolate chip and banana variation is probably a lot lower cals in comparison

It's better than just eating nutella out of the container like I used to do! I'm not gonna lie.. I miss it! lol

Just tried to edit my original post but it won't let me - so here's the link to the nutritional values -
they reckon 140 a portion

There's also an interesting version using papaya instead on bananas on the site, making it more like a pudding...

Okay I came across this recipe also. There is no way its 140 calories though! I made it this afternoon for my kiddos. I halved the recipe and got 5 servings at 1/3 a cup each. That is approximately 268 calories a serving! The gal who posted this recipe (I found it on pinterest) must have magical nutella lol. Sign me up for a case! Or three!!!!!!

Hm...I wonder if peanut butter would work instead of the nutella? While nutella is delicious, it's dangerous for me to have in the house!
