Newbie here!

Hello!

I am new to this site and love the inspiring messages and progress that you all contribute. I have alternately struggled between losing weight and accepting that I will never look like a supermodel, but can still be very happy and very healthy.

I’m currently trying to lose 12.5 pounds and, for the first time ever, I have a deadline: My wedding on June 2, 2012. This gives me a little under six months at a little over 2 pounds per month.

I would love friends! Reading your food diaries, exercise updates, and supporting comments is incredibly helpful and motivating. I’m especially interested in friends who are vegetarian/vegan, Asian, or in the Pittsburgh area – people like me, essentially :)
