My success 81lbs lost!

First let me start by saying I am not a blogger and not a creative writer in any way so I hope this isn't too boring
) I've always been self-conscience and tried to "be healthy." In my family, everyone always said I was the "lucky" one who was tall and thin and hearing that made me more aware of any weight gain. I didn't really notice the weight gain over time since it was fairly gradual until one day I was in the store and I couldn't find any pants that fit that weren't in the plus size department. It was also around this time I started to notice I hated myself in pictures. Needless to say I don't have many at my highest weight. I got married in February 2009 and ironically it was then that I decided it was time to change. I joined Curves in April 2009 and loved it from the very beginning. It was the first time I had ever been measured and let me tell you, that was inspiration all on its own. At first I didn't really change how I ate at all, but as the weight started dropping, I slowly started making changes to diet. I am a terrible cook and my husband and I ate out a lot so the changes went from getting fries to getting baked chips and then cutting out more greasy things… We ate a lot of Subway lol. I had lost approximately 50lbs when in Nov, 2009 I found out I was pregnancy... SUPRISE! haha I deal with PCOS so this was a happy surprise but certainly not planned. I had my beautiful baby girl in August 2010 and was only about 10lbs more than my lowest pre-pregnancy
I started back up at Curves and it felt good. This go around, I changed my diet much more. I found MFP and it made tracking food so much easier, especially with the iPhone app! My husband and I started running together with the C25k program and until we had schedule conflicts, we actually were able to run a 5k! I never in my life thought that would be possible. I've lost another 25lbs or so since having my daughter totaling 81lbs from my highest weight! I truly believe in Curves and MFP. I'm not sure what my end-goal will be but right now I'm focusing on toning up and maintaining.
