Seems every day, I eat below my calories, but I am above sodium/sugar levels (even with mostly veggies, and all leans meats!)
Any tips would be greatly appreciated, is anyone else having this problem? I don't think I was aware of this when I was doing weight watchers.
I find this app way more helpful and it has wayyy more foods in the lists than WW did! ANyone else?

I know it's not always convenient, but when you make homemade food you have control over all the ingredients.
Find the foods that are putting you over and try to find a healthier version for it.
Do you want us to look at your diary? If not that's fine you don't have to.0 -
soup is a problem for me, anything without sodium tends to taste like dishwater, low sodium broth or boullion cubes are a rip off,
I have made homemade veg soups but they really are bland, even using lots of herbs, onions and garlic,
but then again I like highly seasoned food,
but I keep my sodium under 1000mg per day and am very strict0 -
Hi DLS06 I cannot figure out how to let anyone view my diary... i rarely eat out, we cook every night (the hubs is super helpful), he thinks I am starving myself ... but I am only staying under 1200 a day... and I cannot lose weight, of course I did have my thyroid gland removed a few months ago and they;re working on regulating that with medication which I keep hearing form others is catastrophic for serious weight loss, but I keep trying everyday anyway....0

To open Diary go to My Home, Settings, Diary Settings and then open to whichever group you choose.
Stay away from condiments. I have been watching sodium for a while and that is what always gets me. I love ketchup, salad dressing, etc. but you just can't have it and be low sodium. Also, cheeses and breads are super bad for sodium. Really no help on the cheeses except stay to full fat as they have less. With breads you can make your own or use corn tortillas which are low.
Also, canned anything is bad (unless it has no added sodium). Buy fresh or frozen veggies. Make your own pasta sauces, etc. If you must use canned rinse it under cool water for at least a minute. That has been shown to reduce sodium by 30-70% depending on the food.0
