...can I use other Y's in the area under the same membership? Or are they generally all exclusive?

Yes but you should ask. I'm from Seattle and called a Y in CT if I could use their facility and they said yes.0

3 different membership types in this area- 1 is for just a specific location, one for all locations in the metro area EXCEPT the ones with outdoor pool and one for all locations. Prices are reasonable, more expensive and a lot more expensive.
For me, wasn't worth the cost because closest one to my house was 25minute drive. One near work was a small place with no pool at all and really nasty lockerrooms. The one closest to my house is gorgeous, has everything in the world and is nice and bright and clean. If I lived closer, I'd be there but it's just too far away.0 -
I'm pretty sure you can use your membership at all other Y's, just ask. I have used mine in several different cities and the only restriction I have found is the ability to take some classes. My Y doesn't charge for spinning but even in our metro area, some of the branches do charge and an out of state one did as well.0
