  • Me too! I thought carbs would be a problem, but nooooo it had to be protein instead... I don't know if it is a problem... does anyone have any advise for all us protein lovers out here??

    Protein is not so much of a problem if you work out regularly.

    I go over protein almost every day but have still managed to lose 7lbs (or half a stone for the UK members :laugh: ) in just 6 days.

    protein and carbs have the same 4 calories per gram. where you go over on one, cut back on the other. drink lots of fluids. proteins burn slower, so you feel fuller longer, they don't raise blood sugars, and they don't cause cravings like carbs or empty calories do. you need some carbs though they should be fruits and veggies.
