Microwave Baked Apple

1 medium apple (I used Breaburn)
1/2 tablespoon butter (Country Crock - Lite)
2 teaspoons light brown sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1) Melt butter in microwave
2) Slice and core apple (peel if desired) and coat in melted butter
3) Sprinke brown sugar and cinnamon on top of coated apples and toss
4) Cover and place in microwave for 5 - 7 minutes or until apples are tender.
5) Eat and Enjoy!

Great recipe:happy: , I fix that every night. But with mine I use the Parkay spray. Cuts back on the fat. I also add 1/2 cup of diet soda (Sprite, 7up, etc something clear) to help steam the apple. You can also just use water. Yummmm!!0

I have done this for years, less the butter and brown sugar - I just use alot of cinnamon and sometimes a dash of stevia - the juice from the apples makes a nice syrup on it's own!0
