Good for you! Just take it easy and don't push too hard to fast or you'll injure yourself. Try some of the couch to 5K programs at http://www.runnersworld.com
Happy running! :bigsmile:0 -
I just started running also. I hated running before I dropped a few pounds. Now I am training for my first 5K run. It is fun and rewarding. Keep up the good work and have fun with it. :happy:0

Great Job!!!! I too, just began running(4.0mph) I used to be all jiggly. It felt like my butt was running separately behind me. So I started going faster to get away from it. Now, I feel like we ( my butt and I) are running together. (tighter buns) . Good luck and keep running.0

My sister has been an avid exerciser and fitness buff (in HS, she dated the star quarterback and they'd go lift weights for a DATE!!), and she has convinced me to run a 5k with her in about 8 weeks. So thanks, jessmomof3, because I just printed out a 5 week training program!!
Good luck with your running, beautifullyjaded! I'm hoping to find myself less jiggly in a few weeks!
Cheers to us newbies!0 -
