My goal was to lose 30 lbs my christmas and I just made it. To show of my success, I bought a new outfit (classy sweater that was a lose fitting style, but really showed off my collar bones that are very visible now, an above the knee -but not trashy - skirt and a great pair of heels to show of my legs that can now run four miles).

I went to my big family party, hoping at least one person would notice. Well, through the course of the night, almost everyone payed me compliments. I was so flattered and happy that others could see my hard work.

So did anyone else get to show off all of their hard work this holiday season? How did your loved ones and families react? Let me know!

I finally bought some new clothes. I took an armload of clothes one size smaller than I have been currently wearing into the dressing room but had to return them all and get the next size down. I was nearly delirious with joy. Then when I showed up at work in one of my new outfits one of my coworkers told me she had started on a fitness program because I had inspired her with my transformation. I started 2yrs ago with 2X's getting too tight. I'm now solidly in size 12's.

We went to visit our daughter for Christmas. She still lives where we used to 3 years ago so we still have lots of friends and acquaintances there. I went to a school function with her and to Christmas Eve services at our church and there were people that didn't even realize who I was until I stood next to my daughter. It was awesome! Forgot to say that I was 50 pounds lighter then the last time they saw me.

I wore leggings on Christmas Day, with a tunic dress - normally it would be a long skirt with a long jumper.
