Most effective weight training?

HELLOOO!!! So, I'm picking up my weight bench this afternoon, and I would like to know what are your favorite weight training exercises OR what could be deemed "the most effective". I like hearing what people say, so fire away. Thanks People!

    Bodybuilding.com Jamie Eason's Livefit Trainer will give you a great starting point. It has three phases and you really lose weight and gain great muscle :)

    I'd have to go with bench press for chest and triceps..

    Keep it simple- squats, deadlifts, cleans or over head press. It's best to improve basic strength and knowledge first.
