Electrolytes / refuelling

I'm attending an ice hockey training camp this weekend, and due to the time spent on the ice, and the nature of wearing LOTS of padding on a 'not really that cold' ice rink (oh, and the intense activity) you tend to lose a lot of liquid.
In a general game situation, I would just use water, or maybe Gatorade as it's a relatively short space of time, but this is going to be all day, for 2 days.
Has anyone found any cheap ways of refuelling and renourishing their bodies for intense and prolonged activity? (Home made flapjacks or shakes etc?)
Thanks
Mark

Goes without saying.. (exercise or not)
but with 5/6 hours time on the ice, I need something to refuel during the day. Just looking for alternatives to the expensive SIS supplements etc.0
