    Optimum Nutrition 100% Whey Gold Standard are my favorite protein powders. And highly recommended by a lot of folks. You can get the different flavors much cheaper off of Amazon than you can at GNC or other type stores. I like double chocolate and vanilla ice cream the best. I drink them with almond milk or make a shake with other ingredients like banana, berries, peanut butter, etc.

    As said... Optimum makes good stuff, can't go wrong there... and when talking purely protein, gender doesn't matter.

    Yes. That is the exact one I'm using right now - really nice. Optimum Nutrition is a really good brand in general IMO.

    Also, as UponThisRock said: They are not gender specific. They just have different ratios of fat/carbs/protein etc to suit different goals, you have to find which one suits you. I like the one you mentioned as it's lower carb than most of the others (I prefer to eat my carbs as I :heart: pasta)
