Okay, so this is really weird, I've never had this problem before. I've been working out since January but recently whenever I get down on my knees, I get a sharp pain in my left knee. It feels like I've set my knee down on something on the floor (but there is nothing there). All I feel is a sharp, stabbing, tingling pain for a few seconds. Then the pain is gone but it still feels tingly. Any ideas?

I have knee problems from running, the best thing is to go to your doctor, and they may refer you if it is serious. Lay off your knees a bit, my sports doc said that pain is the last thing we feel in an injury! They take forever to heal too:grumble:

Although you may want to consult your doctor, here's a few thoughts: Watch your position- if your knee is positioned in front of your ankle you may be putting stress on your ACL. For now, you might want to go easy on your knees. If it doesn't hurt, try some quad extensions on the machines at the gym- they don't put as much stress on your knees. The stronger your quads are, the less stress on your knees.
