Hi all,
On some of my foods that I'm scanning on my iPhone app, the nutrition advice and calories per portion/100g is different from that on the actual packet of the foods that I am scanning, although it does have the correct make and name of the product.
So, should I take the nutrition information from MFP or the packet?????
cheers.

I'd say the Packet... It's probably been entered wrong into the database.0

Agree with the others, use the info on the package as it's coming from the manufacturer directly. Alot of times I don't find exactly what I'm looking for, especially with meat. In those cases I'll go to the U.S.D.A food database and find the type of meat and amount of fat as they have it listed; Trimmed 0" fat, 1/8", 1/4" etc Then I'll go back and either make my own entry or edit another one.0
