High Sodium/Higher Potassium - Good thing?

Options
Hey all,

Wondering if anyone knows, or has read anything about high sodium/high potassium diets? That being, a diet in which one consumes high amounts of sodium (likely 2000-4000mg) and high potassium (likely 3000-6000mg) per day. There have been definite links between a poor sodium/potassium ratio and things like high blood pressure, but nothing I could find suggested whether or not you could combat a high sodium diet using a high potassium diet. Any ideas from dieticians/medical professionals, or studies on the topic that anyone has found would be awesome.

Bumping this. I'm trying to build muscle and have been careful to balance my carbs, fat and protein but my potassium is always about 1/3 of my total goal. I'm wondering how much is enough based on 1700-3500 calories a day.
