Pedometer?

I have a pedometer that I never use that I'm thinking about starting to track my steps throughout the day. Does anyone know how to track your calories burned by just steps taken throughout the day? Or is that already accounted for on my "light" activity level selected... I rarely eat back my exercise calories... but I'm just wondering if this could be a valuable tool....
