A co-worker of mine wants to lose 30 lbs in 2 months. I shared with him what he should do in order to achieve those goals (actually I suggested no more than 2 lbs a week with massive cardio and weight training morning and evening) but I am curious if anyone has a SAFE meal and or weight plan in a short period of time? Please don't say HCG diet:laugh: ..lol

Juice fast for 30 days - tell him to watch Fat, Sick & Nearly Dead and he can do a clean reboot w/ just veggies and fruit.

Is he morbidly obese? If so, that's totally doable.

A juice fast for that length of time is very unhealthy and not a viable option to keep the weight off in the future.

Yes I couldn't imagine that long but it's quite doable and slowly incorporate clean foods back after a couple of weeks.

The guy who did the documentary did it and kept it off and he helped a man in the documentary do the same except for 60 days actually under the supervision of a doctor and has kept the weight off and totally changed his life...

He just wants to get in shape. If he starts working out consistently losing the weight will matter less and less. Thanks for the suggestions they are awesome.

It definitely can be done effectively..just curious if someone had a good plan. Eating healthy and working out consistently is the best advice I could give him.
