The Best Dang Smoothie

I have been on a smoothie kick for a week and am making a basic banana, pineapple, strawberry and lots of ice. I dont add any yogurt or protein but I'd like to but I dont want to add to the calories.

Does anyone have any really good ideas for smoothies that are easily picked up at "any" grocery store and easy to get the kids to eat too? I love em fruity but I am starving after eating the ones I fix. I think I need to add some protein. Hmmm... wonder if almonds would help with my cravings if I add that...

Anyway, ideas???????????
