Modify or start over later?

I'm two weeks into Insanity (the workout program - the other one I've had my whole life) and this morning while jogging I fell and hurt my arm. It hurts like a mofo - bad enough that I went to the doctor. It's not broken but will be a couple of weeks before it's healed.
Do I continue doing Insanity and just skip the parts that put direct pressure on my arm until it's good to go or do I skip Insanity and start over from the beginning when my arm is better?
I don't want to half-*kitten* it but if I'm still going to get good results without the push-ups I'll keep going with it.
Thanks!

I have never done Insanity. I have, however, done the Firm and had hurt my shoulder while doing it. I seriously thought I pulled my shoulder out, it hurt so bad. I did go to the doctor. He recommended that I keep doing it but modify the moves for 2-3 weeks and myself time to recuperate rather than stop completely.0

Just noticed you mentioned push-ups. The Firm had push-ups too, I didn't do them for a couple weeks.0

And in the meantime, do other things that don't require you to be able bodied like swimming, walking or aerobic dance.
That's what I'd do.0 -
If you are sweating and burning more than you are taking in, you are doing great. (If you want to lose.)
Good luck.0 -
What are your other options? What did your doctor say about it?
If it was either do the workout or don't do anything, I'd modify and do what I could. If you have another work out that you are able to do in the mean time that doesn't use your arms, like walking, I'd do that instead.
I find that if I don't do any sort of workout for more than a few days, I lose momentum and I turn into a sloth. If I do *something* even for only 10 minutes or so, it keeps me in the healthy mindset that I need to be in.0 -

I'm not familiar with The Firm. Did you still get good results having modified it for a couple of weeks?
I'm leaning more and more toward modifying and keeping up with it until I can fully use my arm. I can always do the whole program again or parts of it or start over later. I just like to stick to something once I've started it. I made a schedule and everything. I'd hate to have to scrap my schedule after I spent all those minutes putting it together0 -

I did get good results still. GREAT? No, but in modifying the moves, your results obviously won't be the same. It could have been way better had I not screwed my shoulder up. *LOL*
I'm glad I took the doctor's advice and modified.0 -
Update:
I went ahead and did my Insanity workout this morning. I rotated through high knee/butt kicks/run in place instead of exercises putting pressure on my arm to keep moving. One exercise I just skipped altogether. Still got a hell of a workout and was able to work my legs and core so I think this is going to work fine. There's nothing I'm going to be able to do for my upper body for the time being anyway so ....... so there.0
