Adjust activity settings on busy days?

I am assuming that this would be right? During the week I work at a desk, with not much movement at all. But on the weekends, I hike A LOT! I've been known to hike both days on the weekend up to to 15 miles , or hike 10 miles on Saturday & clean my mothers house on Sunday.
So would think changing my activity setting on the weekends will be ok, or should I leave it at sitting still mode?
