Renewing my exercise focus to help get through some recent emotional junk. Happily I've been asked to be bridesmaid and maid of honor in two weddings fall of 2012 and I would really love to drop some significant weight between now and then. I started this journey with over 100lbs to lose and I've still got a very long way to go.

Those are so great motivators...use them to keep you focused and set mini-goals along the way in order to break it up into smaller do-able challenges.
The best advice I can give you is to log everything ... ahead of time really helps put your mind in tune with your efforts.
Hydrate well....I concentrate on half my weight in ounces of water.
Number 1s:
No cokes (soda, not even diet...sorry)
No take-out, esp fried
but most of all stay within your daily calorie limit...
Love yourself and don't give up or give in to tricks or gimmicks....they spell out failure.
