Hi my name is Brooke, I'm that girl that works out hard 9 months out of the year and slacks in the summer! My goal is to make this the first year I don't do that. I actually started this journey two years ago and lost 40 lbs using Jillian Michaels methods. Of that 40 I gained back 10, and now I'm back at it. I want to get lower than 200 for a first, small goal. Then from there I plan to just take it one day at a time. As Bob Harper says (one of my faves) "Worry about what you can do today". I'm glad I joined my fitness pal because I'm a busy military wife of three kids, and having it on my smartphone REALLY helps me stay committed to tracking my calories. I love tennis, yoga, walking the dogs, and playing at the playground with the kids. I'm currently doing the 30 Day Shred. Outside of that I am a freelance writer.
