Don't do it. There are no fast way to lose weight. Please do it the right way. Healthy choices and exercise.
When you stop the pill, you go back to your old ways. If you choose to do it right....step by step....you will succeed and reach your goals.
There are a lot of posts on this pill here. Take some time and go back to the older posts and read. It is a scary pill.
Good luck to you:flowerforyou:0 -
There are a couple of posts on here about this. You may want to read through them before trying it. The one thing I remember some one saying was that someone they know got diareha so bad they had to have a change of clothes.
I would just stick with eating healthy and exercising.0 -
FDA = let them be guinea pig
There have been plenty of diet drugs, heart drugs, cancer drugs etc that at one point in time were approved and then long term studies (in other words, you and others taking them for longer than the trials lasted) they get pulled off.
There is not a miracle out there, just good eatting, exercise and persistance. And like the post above said, read some of the other alli posts, my favorite is the woman that ruined her favorite pants from the orange sludge that leaked from her bowels completely out of her control..mmmmm.0 -
I actually tried alli when it first came out and I had a very good experience with it. I lost nearly 20 lbs while I was on the pill. (I have since gained 10 back- cause I went off eating healthy) Alli is by no means a miracle pill and they do not claim to be- it is just a little extra help. It blocks 1/4th of the fat you consume in the meal you take the pill with. I never had any side effects like the orange oily discharge that is possible...you only have these "treatment effects" as they call them if you eat over the set 15 grams of fat per meal, if you watch what you eat and stay under the reccomended amount you will be fine. I have been thinking about going back on Alli- but I want to try it on my own for awhile first. Go to myalli.com and research about it before you do anything.0

I agree with alwaysenl, you should definitely do the research to see if it's something that's right for you. I know that the discharge is actually fat, and they do have strong recommendations about keeping the fat level in your food down. Also it's only recommended for people with more than a few pounds to lose. There's more information out there but it's up to you to read it and decide if it's something you want to try. You still have to eat healthy and exercise, of course.0

Yes nightangelstars- well said. You absolutely still have to eat right and exercise with taking Alli, it just gives your weightloss a little boost. They reccomend you not to lose more than 1-2 lbs a week. They're catch phrase it "Are you ready?" You have to be ready for a lifestyle change before starting it. Anyway- I sound like I work for the company. Sorry lol! I swear I don't work for Alli :laugh:0
