I'm still nursing my daughter who is 18 months once or twice a day. Curious how this should affect my calorie needs.
Thanks!
Thanks!

I just heard in passing that nursing can give you anywhere from 250-500 calories.0

I am also a nursing mom. My boy is 4 months. I have read some things on this and it says notvto drop below 1500 but that most nursing moms need at least 1800 calories a day. I have been trying to stay at 1500 and I havevbeen fine. My milk supply has not decreased and my 4 month old is only nursing with no other foods yet. Just make sure your taking a Multi vitamin so your getting all your needs as the baby gets first dibs with the milk Hope that helps0

My son is 20mos and I don't add any extra calories for nursing. He only nurses once at night.

Thanks for the feedback! As she is only nursing once or twice a day I think I'll just leave the calorie settings where they are.0
