Ahhh.. I can't stop watching.. I can't stand Dr. Phil and I hate that I'm giving him the ratings for having the Octuplet Mom on but I can't stop watching.. I don't hate her and this isn't bash her or anything.. nor do i think she is the greatest person ever.. I have no opinion really.. I don't think I know enough about her..

It's like a car crash. I know I shouldn't watch but I can't stop.. To keep it MFP related.. she might need to come on here to lose the pregnancy weight.. haha. I wonder how much she gained..

I don't care for Dr. Phil anymore. And the OctoMom attention confuses me. My grandparents on one side had 18 children, the ones on the other side had 13. Neither side had money to feed those kids, and they refused government assistance. Honestly I think it would have been far better if they'd gotten assistance so their kids didn't have to suffer.

Beyond that I have no clue what's going on, just wanted to comment. HAHA.

Yea - but your grandparents had their kids before "good" birth control was available - and I bet they didn't pay someone to fertilize your grandmothers so they could have a bunch at once. I'm betting all their kids came "naturally"

The story is like a train wreck - it's hard to NOT want to know what's going to happen next. I have mixed feelings about the whole thing.

I think the state of the economy as well as eight at once both contribute to the OMG factor of this story.

Plus the obvious plastic surgery, and the absence of a Dad-

put it all together and a bunch of people get up in arms-

From what I gather being pregnant WAS the birth control method.

What could happen next though? She goes home. The babies cry. The end.
