Hey Guys and Gals!
I have been using a strapless model heart rate monitor for the past few years (although I have not been working out much until recently)....I chose a strapless model because I thought the chest straps would be a pain in the *kitten* and really uncomfortable!
After reading advice from many here on the forums, today I spent my Christmas gift money and spoiled myself with the Polar FT7 along with the Flow Link which automatically uploads data to your computer. I used it tonight with my workout for the first time, and I have to say....once I had the heart rate monitor on I couldn't even feel it, nor could you see it through my clothing!
What a difference to just be able to work out and not worry about taking my heart rate a thousand times during my workout!! And now I am getting the most accurate calorie count possible!
For those of you contemplating strap or strapless HRM....I was once like you. I have been converted. Get the chest strap! You won't regret it!!!! I absolutely love mine to bits!!!
